I would be curious to see the shots. I am getting in to Yashicas. And Canonets. And C35s and pretty much any other low cost vintage RFs.

Show us some pictures. It is in nice shape, though. Looks pristine. How do you like it?

I got this 4 years ago and ran 1 roll of film thru it the week I got it. I don't believe that initial roll turned out too well because I was relying on the built-in meter. I'm using a handheld meter this time. I have a roll of Superia 400 loaded and will post pics once I get them done.

The camera should be capable of excellent images but a selenium meter of that age is unlikely to be accurate. You should see quite an improvement with the hand held meter. Be sure to post a few shots when you've gotten the negatives processed.

Got the roll back. The lens flares like crazy and it's soft as hell at 2.8.. Given that, I think it's suitable for certain looks...

Heh. I just realized that I have some B&W shots done with my Canonet 28 that I need to scan and upload ASAP...

Sometimes soft is good. Interesting photos anyway.

Everyone is critiquing the pictures and all I can do is wonder how good that slice of pizza looks!! Have never been to Chicago (except airport) but imagine you guys have the best pizza anywhere! Oh ya, I like the look that camera/lens gives. Gives the shot more personality I think. Rob.
