finally I have been able to get into the rangefinder world! I'm doing so with the following gear: Zorki 6 + Industar 50 + Jupiter 3
I'm obviously trying to climb the learning ladder at my own pace. Holding the camera at the right angle and getting faster for deciding the light, setting speed and aperture, and focusing is something with which I'm not at easy yet.
The idea of a non intrusive camera was the major driving force that took me into this path; and this Zorki 6, well, is simple genial. Even though I'm still learning how to feel really confortable with it, I had already felt the satiscation of walking around and taking out my camera without provoking a shock reaction on the people, that normally thought I was aiming at them an atomic gun when instead of carring the rangefinder I was carring my heavy slr. Nevertheless, I know I still need to learn how to actually make photographs of people :-0
I have attached two photos. The first one was taken with the I-50, and the second with the J-3. I used TMAX 100 developed in TMAX, and both were scanned with a Nikon LS-2000. I did not apply any USM.
Thanks to those of you that helped me decide how to start this adventure.
