Starting on the Retina IIIS

After years of looking for a IIIS, finally not one but two appeared, both in the usual disrepair. The technician made one good out of both. It has the Xenar lens.

Tested with a short strip of very old Pan F (without the +).

We all know these lenses are good, but anyway, I am amazed. Right against the sun, a 50% center crop:

Kodak put some really nice glass on their higher end cameras.
