Hmm. Be completely dispassionate about your work, Print the photographs really, really big and you become an acclaimed artist who is seen by critics as competing with painting.

Not sure I follow this logic but then I have never been a fan of Gursky.

I will have to research Ruff's work as the portrait illustrated in the article has a very graphic quality about it that I find interesting.
