Well, I haven't been shooting a lot lately. But I don't feel like I have been in a slump at all. I have done something photography related each weekend, mostly processing and scanning. You guys have seen my work this weekend. I am wondering if the Kentucky Board of Tourism is looking and wanting to send me a check. But that is part of the puzzle too. Good, bad or indifferent, I have used what I have captured to tell a story or two, or three, or four...... 😉 .

Thank you all for putting up with me.

So, am I in a slump, nope. I actually am scanning a roll right now, have 5 more to process, and am heading to Maine next weekend. I am sure to do plenty of shooting up there.

Keep your eye's peeled, I may have saved the best for last this weekend, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.

that's very good rover!
i hate a slump.

i too have been shooting pretty much most weekends but i have not been very satisfied with the results.
i am trying to produce a simpler photo, less elements but visually compelling ones and feel that i am failing miserably.
so, not a working slump but maybe a creative one for me.

and back to you...i have enjoyed the story telling aspect of your presentations this weekend.
i think your son will have a wealth of history at his finger tips when he's older.
very cool!

Brett, I could be wrong, but I have not found too much I feel is worthy to put in even my humble gallery.

It has been fun checking out my photos, scanning and finally seeing them.

Of interest, the local CC is offering a B&W film Scanning photography class in October. I am going to take that. In fact, I asked the teacher of the last class I took if this type of class would be offered. He said not in the plans at that time (at least a year ago), but things changed for the good!

good for you, rover! but make sure you never take any of your Leicas to class.. always carry a Chinon clamshell camera and insist all your photos are taken with it

I've gone through long periods when I fall idle on the shooting end because I just don't see anything I want to photograph. I feel like I'm doing nothing but I think there's some internal processing going on that I'm unaware of; the fallow ground stage of the growing season, so to speak. Later I'll get excited about things again and it resolves itself.

I think it has been our hot sticky weather. I just can't get the mojo going. A nice clear weekend on the Maine coast will cure this for me I hope. I have enjoyed keeping active though. I have 5 rolls to process, hopefully I will get them done this week, if not, they will be ready when I am.

I processed three rolls of film this morning. I am going to have to start shooting again because I may just run out of stuff to process.

Going thru a bit of a slump myself. Had 11 days off so far and I've only finished 7 rolls thru 6 cameras. Still have one day left before I return to work, and have half finished rolls in a Contaflex lV, Kowaflex Model E, and Olympus RC. Just running out of subjects as well as motivation. Going back to my US mail drop to check on my Ebay goodies this afternoon, so maybe more motivation there. Expecting 17 goodies so we'll see what US Post Claus brought me this time.
