I have recently been playing with stereo attachments designed for film cameras on an M240. I get mixed results with the sort that screw to the filter ring and sit on top of the main lens, e.g. Zeiss/Contax and Kiev.
I can borrow a STEMAR attachment but am reluctant to try it on an M240 without assurance that it will not foul anything. The measurement of depth appears to leave about 0.5mm clearance but....
Has anyone actually tried it, or had verification from Leica that it is OK? I emailed Leica two weeks ago and it has been (not for the first time) ignored.
