Steve Huff Review

Steve Huff is probably a nice enough guy but I found it ho hum. Not sure I'd rank it a great review. Not much written about how cumbersome the camera interface is and it is. RAW processing not supported by Apple Aperture. Not show stoppers but certainly problematic.

Only positive reviews generate clicks to the many advertertisers on his site ;)

Steve Huff is a great writer and sure knows how to run a website but his enthousiasm about almost every product he reviews gets irritating in the end.

I read his stuff once in a while but do not take it too serious.

How about for a change people post what they have been able to accomplish with this camera 'photographically' and how this camera have improved their photography... enough of test shots and samples and reviews, let us see how X100 has been useful and if the hype was worth it.

Amen.

Those sites are nauseating. More technique, less gear.

It would be interesting for someone to compare it side by side to a Hexar AF in terms of usability. Too much pixel peeping is nauseating.

You do realise what you are saying right? How big do you think the group of people is that used to have a Hexar AF and is now looking for a similar camera? ;)
I think you should just go to a store and try it out yourself, you know, do a little bit of legwork like the old days ;)
