Sticky meter needle in Olympus 35sp

I recently picked up two Olympus 35 sp cameras, one black, one chrome.

The chrome 35sp camera has working meter and spot meter, but the meter needle can be sticky. Will the sticky meter needle would affect the automatic exposure mode? If so, I will get it fixed, but if not, I will probably ignore it.

The black 35sp camera is very nice with a working meter and spot meter, but had some early stage fungus on one of the rear elements. Fortunately, a local camera repair shop managed to clean it up perfectly for only $25.00.

I have the 35RC, it has had a sticky meter needle, and it did effect the exposure. Now I don't know about the other Oly RFs, but I did figure what was wrong with mine and was able to fix it. If you are interested PM me. As I say I'm not sure about the differences.
