by this coming thursday, it will have been gone for four weeks. just got off the phone with the shop. learned my x100 had been set aside, waiting for a lens unit to arrive from japan, then forgotten. in the meantime, the unit had arrived. shop manager set things aright. he said it will be fixed now, and over-nighted. glad i called ... :bang:

My X100 is due to arrive this afternoon via FedEx overnight after sticky aperture blades. I sent it to Fujifilm USA (New Jersey) seven days ago...overnight both ways.
Sorry about your delay. I can't wait to get mine back.

Good that they were honest with you at least! I've had repair shops just leave me in the dark for weeks and it's a terrible feeling. Fujifilm seem to be pretty good with their X series service.
