I found this strange example of a Kiev on that auction site which seems to be an intermediate between a 4a and 4am. It has a black speed dial, marking every speed in a different colour, a black folding crank, wider than the 4am's crank, no hotshoe and no fixed takeup spool. I would assume it was some kind of jackalope/wolpertinger between 4a and 4am if it didn't have that strange dial.

Has anyone seen something like this before?

No. But it looks like a good combo of old/new. I have often wished my 4A had the bigger knobs of latter 4's but was never brave enough to buy in the bits and swap them about. I probably works really well.
