I feel like I'm losing it trying to figure out what this light leak is on my film.
Images are attached. At first I figured it was just a light leak coming from my Leica. Then, I noticed it on frames taken on my point and shoot, so I figured it was my coolscan leaking light in when scanning. So I made contact sheets in the darkroom and can see the bottom of the frame also has some lightness on some photos.
Since it's within the frame, I assume it's not happening during development. Any ideas what could be happening? Do I have a light leak in both cameras?

It happened to me when using a batch of home bulk-loaded cassettes. Light entered during the loading process.
If you use original film rolls , another explanation must be found.

Can you see the light leak past the image frame to the numbers area? If you can; having two cameras with the same light leak seems unlikely. And are you processing your own film?

Light leak does not extend outside the frame. I am processing my own film. The film isn't bulk loaded.
I just did a test with my Leica, taking the lens off and exposing it to light, then taking a photo. So I'll have to process that roll and see if there's an obvious light leak from the camera.

I just processed my test roll where I took the lens off the camera, held it near bright sunlight at every angle I could for a few seconds, then put the body cap on, went in my darkroom and released the shutter. There were no bright marks anywhere on the strip of film. However, the one shot I took with the lens on, it looks like there is some brightness at the bottom of the frame similar to the above photos.
Which makes me think it's the lens, has anyone experienced something like this?
Thanks.
