Howdy,

I developed two films (steel tank, a little dodgy one 120 reel thingie) from my autocord (optiper shutter) and found strange light leaks on 1/3 of the frames. the "leaks" look like a bright streak in the middle of the frame form the upper left corner to the lower right and is not on the film edges(where the numbers are). I suspect these appear on the slower shutter speeds 1/30 and 1/15 but am not sure.

What can cause this?

Thanks,
Mike

Looked at the Gallery, and checked out the Blog, but I don't see any shots of what you are talking about. Hard to guess what the problem is without seeing it.

Lots of good shots on both sites. Keep it up.

Did this by any chance happen on the last shots on the roll? I had a similar thing happen once on a Rolleiflex, and it turned out that I had let the roll become loose when I took the exposed film out of the camera, and light got in and ruined the last few frames.

thanks for the replies!
i found the issue(a shutterblade got loose and leaked light) and sent the camera to CLA.

my gallery here is very outdated and I try to update the blog daily.
