Strange old timer.

Looks to me like an electric darkroom timer with two ranges, to be used with European voltage (220V).

I agree. The text is German and says that it is adjustable from 0.5 to 50 seconds. A switch Sets the range up to 5.5 sek. Or up to 50 sek. The output socket is just two holes in the side, it seems.
I am wondering if it might be a Heathkit unit? I know Heathkit had a German subsidiary.

I just saw one of those in a thrift shop in Corvallis Oregon, USA. So we know there are at least 2 of them.
