I met this gentleman whilst strolling in the park. He is nearly 80 years old and has been roller-skating for about 5 years. He had very major abdominal surgery 2 years ago but that didn't slow him down! Skating with the grace and poise of a ballet dancer he is indeed a remarkable man.

This girl was selling something ... I can't remember what. She was happy for me to photograph her and she had a lovely smile! :)

I always find it hard to take photos without asking especially if I know I will get caught but never the less thats what I invariably do . If I ask a stranger on the street if I can take their photo, inevitably they stop doing whatever it is that I wanted to catch them doing, turn and pose for the camera. Which is just what I want them not to do.

Sitting on joint bench and after small talk, I was free to take my shot.
Usually I don't ask, but the conversation is unspoken language using eyes only

I have no idea who these people are...

I have no idea who these people are...

I typically always ask before snapping the shutter, whether it be a simple nod with eye contact or a direct question. Taking pictures of people without their knowledge, in my opinion, is fraud.
