I've been researching camera straps for my newly aquired Mamiya 7. I will mainly use the camera for landscape and possibly event images. I like the idea of the sling style straps and have been looking at UpStrap, BlackRapid, and Op-Tech. When the camera isn't in my backpack, I'd like to be able to do some short hikes carrying on a sling style strap. Any recommendations or advice? Thanks!

The Domke strap... I have it on my Mamiya 6 ... very good.

I use an UpStrap that I had laying around. Works fine; no complaints. The clip-ring system it uses to attach to the camera makes removing (and putting it back on) very quick, which is nice when I don't want it dangling around. Don't know if that's a game changer or not for you -- it's a minor plus for me, but I'd be happy with any number of other straps (Domke, Op-Tech, etc.) too.
