domke gripper seemed like the ultimate strap until I tried the luigi. I have the Y too, it's neat but not for every day use.

A&A leather. My own view is about as far from 'straps are straps' as can be. And I loathe nylon straps.
Cheers,

Roger, which strap is shown in the picture on your site of your M with the new Sonnar. A&A has a few listed. That picture is alive.
Zeiss 1,5/50 C Sonnar in ZM mount is the article and I also subscribed to you page.

Yea to that. Solution: Find a CV side grip - it will shift the balance to where the Bessa will dangle at a comfortable angle... plus, it has a healthy sized lug.
Also use the Y with my FSU Barnacks - attached a swivel to the tripod screw mount with a chrome (!) cap screw.

"Flim? You want flim?"
More importantly, where the heck is A&A leather? Even Google can't find it!

Thanks very much!
Problem is... I dunno what they're called! It's black leather with white stitching, chosen by pointing and saying 'That one!' rather than ordering from a catalogue. Probably an A&A dealer could tell you if you gave them the web link. Frances says she'll try to find the box tomorrow and see if it says on that.
EDIT: Googling Artisan & Artist it looks like the 'M3 Style Strap'
Jim: Sorry for the acronym but I often have difficulty remembering whether it's Artisan and Artist (it is) or Artist and Artisan (it isn't). A&A covers 'em both!
Cheers,
R.

Very odd, no mention of Luigi and his leather straps. It seems like yesterday that his beautiful work was the talk of this group.

At 65 I'm not really into bondage.I'm curious as to what straps everyone uses? I'm prone to a wii strap on my M3. Anyone ever used the Y strap?

I use Artisan and Artist's M3-Style, White Stitch and Kobe straps; all are excellent and well worth the cost for my neck's comfort. As I buy/sell cameras, I never sell my straps because all straps are not created equally well in terms of comfort or function.
