I began a similar project a few years ago, but instead of the camera and darkroom being in one box, I built a two-sleeve darkroom box, within which I can change out film holders and process paper up to 5x7 in size. I built it large enough to also load 4x5 directly into a Polaroid Model 800 inside the box. Haven't had the opportunity to work with it in a long time, though. Maybe this year.

We built one of these for our students to use, but are still figuring out how that guy in Afghanistan does it so deftly! I have big Ham Hands, apparently, so I keep dropping stuff in the chemistry! When/if it warms up around here we'll let the students have a go at it. Our lab tech did the build, and did a very nice job! If I had done it it would have ended up looking like an orange crate!
