The best part of the essay, for me, is "configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time." gets me every time...

Nice and funny! though either he has problems of scaning negs or delta 400 is not that good 🙂

It's a good read with some good photographs. It does read a bit like a Leica brochure sometimes, and he is a bit into strong language every now and then. but otherwise it's a nice read.

yeah, chris weeks is a big leica fan and sometimes it seems that he doesnt accept other brands...but if you know his writing style (which is pretty rude at some points) and his preferences in camera choice, you'll enjoy reading this.

Sorry to say so but I first watched the photos, and apart from some exceptions I could not find them very convincing. Maybe I'll read the text later.

I am the only one here that reacts against his shooting style? Shooting "from the hip" is covardly....

I dont like hip shot photos too. I dont know if its covardly... I never like this style of shooting... I always compose in the viewfinder the best that I can.

To be better photographer two things: audacity (with respect) and attention. All the others are secondary: the technique can be learned, the visual culture too, the sensitivity has to be waked up.

The chance will guide your steps but you will have to be prepared to capture the moment that has been destined to you.
