For a while, i am coming across very talented street photographers from Poland. Also, most of them are using film instead of digital. It seems there is a group or trend towards to the street photography. Is there any one here who clarify this situation? Do you have any opinion about street photography in Poland?

I think street is popular all over the world, not just in Poland.
Although I'm Polish, I cannot tell I can see many publications by my colleagues (it's popular until it's on the Internet - if we start saying about photo books in real world, the popularity is below average, I think)

Where did you get your observation from, taylan?

Hi Rudolf
I am trying to follow street photographs via flickr and over blogs. For example this site:

Actually i don't have any clue about the situation in Poland but in general publishing a photography book is very expensive. For this reason, small number of publication is normal situation, IMO.

Maybe you're right, but for me the real photography should be on paper, that's why I thought about published authors. 🙂

But yes, we do have great photographers in Poland, indeed. And thank you for noticing that here 🙂

PS. Just FYI: there are some 404 errors on streetdog.net site, in "photographers" section.
