After not shooting for something about a month I was really looking forward hitting the streets today.
Wheather was lousy today, but I had to get out.

It felt soooo good to take pictures again and I think a little break really helped my motivation. I shot two rolls in only a few hours and it felt like I was in a rush.
I walked up to people and put the camera almost into their faces.
Today I didn't care, something was different than usual.
I was taking shots I usually don't because I chicken out. I feel very energized but I am exhausted as well.
I am really looking forward to develop those rolls, I got the feeling there are a few good ones on.

Just wanted to share and maybe if you are not happy with your pictures take break, do something else and than come back.
It was an interesting experience.

Have fun
Fabian

P.S. My M2 got really wet today. We will soon know how tough those old Leicas really are😀

Hey Fabian.

Sounds like you had a great and fruitful day of shooting! That's the right approach!
I have one or two such days a year. I know how it feels, even though it can be exhausting, it also gives you a lot of energy in return.

I am looking forward to see some results, and oh, don't worry about your M2. It will be okay. If it got really wet, just open the bottom and back and let it dry overnight.

Can't wait to see the results. I envy you, as I can only imagine feeling invincible with a camera on the street, walking up to strangers and taking a picture.

i have just the same feeling the other night spoting pubs with some friends... i could feel that i am doing it right and there will be a few good ones, candid portriats of friends and newly met in lovely moments

only the next day i found there is no film in my Contax T.:bang:

the camera is so much like toy, maybe? that i didn't pay attention like i do with my M4... i don't know

i feel like **** and i still could not get over it
