Streetshooter and M8
I bought one of the original ones to use with my M8 and it was a very snug fit - too snug - but it looks like they've developed another one specially for the M8.
I got it to see if it would lessen the risk of dropping a lens while changing and it certainly gives you a free hand. Where you wear the Streetshooter is important because if you wear it on your side then it can be quite a twist to get at the camera to change a lens, which can be awkward. And if you wear it in front you look particularly odd.
The other concern with wearing it at the side is that there is a tendency to bash the camera against things as you walk by - obviously the longer the lens the higher the risk.
And the weight does tend to encourage one's trousers to travel southwards.
For me it's one of those things that looks like a great idea until you actually use it and then you discover the drawbacks. Sadly mine is gathering dust ...
Pete.
