Street togs, do you use one or two bodies? (Screwmount)
I have 4 lenses, currently trying to sell one. Only one body now so that's why I created this poll

oops, I voted...but I don't have a screw mount camera... I use one body only, and usually one lens... The same would be true if I did have a screw mount camera though.
For street shooting I don't like to be bogged down with gear switches. I make due with what I brought (sometimes wishing I had a wider lens).

I'm not technically qualified to comment as my only LTM is lens-less at the moment, but I've typically always shot one body, one lens for street (generally the 45mm on Contax G or 50mm on SLR). I've used 35mm on SLR on occasion – if I eventually get an ultra-wide for the Bessa L as I've been planning to, I may switch to shooting the 12/15mm and either 35mm or 50mm on the SLR.

no thread camera/lenses these days but...i like either 1 or 2 bodies with lenses attached.
i'll often use one set up going and the other setup coming back.
the key for me is using 2 of the same bodies...keep it simple

In this part of the world, togs are what you wear to go swimming
I think the street is a good place to KISS

I wasn't going to answer but I will to be the first to vote something other than "1."
I've shot a lot of events and protests in the last year. Perhaps it's not strictly "street" but whatever. Often times I have two or sometimes three cameras with me, with different lenses or on different formats.
One protest I did in December, in Atlanta, I had my Nikon D800 on one shoulder, Pentax 67ii on the other, and then my Leica M9 hooked to my backpack which I could grab easily as it hung tight to my chest. The Nikon had a wide zoom, Pentax had a wide to normal zoom, and Leica had a fast 50. Another one I just had two Leicas, my M9 and M6, with a wide and a normal which I switched out depending with a superwide in my pocket.
Just go shoot man.

I use the following Takumar screw-mount lenses permanently mounted on Spotmatic bodies so I do not waste time changing lenses:
28mm f/3.5
50mm f/1.4 (8-element version)
135mm f/3.5

over 95% of the time with one body & one lens... The exception is if I want to shoot both digital and film. Most of the time it's a 50mm for film...
