Looking for my travels a stripped Android tablet (to be rooted) without a GPS/A-GPS and Without Cameras and microphones, possibly with removable HDD/Card. Cant find any where, is such thing available?
Of course i can remove them physically by myself, thus also loosing a possible warranty (a rooted device can be put back to factory condition), so would like it to be without these for me unnecessary features from the start.
If anyone knows of such please tell, other comments about "why i dont want these" is not necessary as i dont ask about that.
Also only Wifi is a plus, a GSM-unit is not needed either.

Would a Nook Color be what you want? There is an Android dual-boot version (sorry, no link) that can be put onto an micro-SD card, so you don't even have to root it.
The Nook Color does not have GPS, camera, microphone, or GSM. It does have WiFi.

The original Kindle Fire would meet your specs and can be rooted and regular android installed- not sure about the new one.
Nook, as mentioned, is also a good choice.

How much are you prepared to pay? There are some embeddable Android toolkit devices about (e.g. Beagleboard based), which you could configure as you like - but you could buy five sub 100€ tablets and tear out their camera and mic, and would still save money...

I recently bought a Nook HD+ for $150, which I then rooted and installed a more generic Android. It has an outstanding color screen and runs great as a regular tablet.

duh, i was racking my brain but didn't think of that. which is ridiculous because i have a nook color that i dual booted off the micro-SD card, lol. it worked pretty well albeit with older versions of android, but since i now have a tablet i just use it as a nook. not sure whether newer versions of android have been made available for the nook color, it's a pretty old device at this point.

nook is an e-reader sold in the US by the bookstore chain "Barnes and Noble." it competes with amazon's kindle. currently, nooks are manufactured for B&N and B&N sells under their name, but my understanding is that future versions will be made by outside manufacturers (e.g., samsung nook e-reader, etc).

A Android based ebook reader distributed by Barnes&Noble - which don't have shops (whether brick&mortar or online) outside Nothern America, so you'd have to find one second hand.
