Hi;
I was just given a small hand-held lightmeter, made by a Japanese company called Standard. The person who gave it to me advised me that it worked well when he last used it 15 years ago. I have tried to remove the battery compartment cover, but it appears to be jammed shut, I believe there may be an old mercury battery in there that has leaked, and this is the source of the problem. Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to fix this problem?
