Stupid idiot of the day

Interesting website, CVBL24! Actually, there ARE digitally optimized batteries that contain "smart circuits" to monitor current draw, overloading, etc. That and their chemical composition "justify" the stupifying 2-3 times cost of good old type batteries! Just an FYI from my IT days.
Rob "MacDaddy" White Psalm 68:19 (look it up in the origianl KJV, or better yet a 1597-1609 Geneva bible!)

This guy comes up and says Heeeeeeeeeyyyyy you need some flash cards. I said no my camera uses film. He said "DON"T THEY MAKE THAT IN DIGITAL" Makes me want to scream.

Recycling one of my own posts: Go ahead, have some fun with the yutz. Tell him that flash cards are old technology; you've got one of these new cameras that uses that Finite Integral Linear Molecular storage technology... surely he's heard about it if he's really cutting-edge... you know, that new thing with the stochastic halide organic image sensor that stores the image non-magnetically and can be post-processed into a permanent optical storage medium so you don't have to worry about transferring the data onto DVDs.

All those buzzwords are perfectly legitimate descriptions of what film is and does, but it makes it sound so high-tech...

This is getting rediculous. I go to the only camear store that handles Fuji Reala, R*** camera and anm picking up a few rolls. This guy comes up and says Heeeeeeeeeyyyyy you need some flash cards. I said no my camera uses film. He said "DON"T THEY MAKE THAT IN DIGITAL" Makes me want to scream. If it wasn't for the death penalty, here, I might go off.

Yup...Rick, you attract them. Maybe you should check the back of your shirt and make sure it doesn't say "digitize me" 😀

LOL!

A few months ago I was shooting a bar, got a good shot of a coupla girls holding their arms up and going "whooooo!" like all the kids do these days. One of girls said, "let me see it" so I handed her my Canonet. She was amazed that there wasn't a LCD screen on the back and asked me "how do you look at them?"

I dunno. I went to purchase something to keep my hands warm in the winter and could not find anything at the local department store. The clerk asked me if I wanted gloves or mittens. I said 'digital' and she didn't get it.

Yep, Byu ~ two in a row, that settles it. You're a magnet. Of course, I knew that the first time I emailed you. I stopped and thought, "Why am I writing this guy?" Then it hit me. "Oh yeah. He's an idiot magnet - I'm an idiot - so I HAVE to write him. It's my duty."

yours truly,
