Fortunately, costs about $6 and half-an-hour of your time to fix. Well worth it.

Considering that I have two left hands, and 10 thumbs, that for me means $60 for ten sets of seals, and about 2 weeks of my time :D

The Minister D is now at $10.50, i was out bid. I'll wait it out and make a last second attempt at it. Gotta be UNDER $25 though including shipping or Im out.

Mint Leica CL/Summicron C, cap, hood, case, strap, etc... - ca. 20$?!?!?!?

WOOOOW.

Minolta hi-matic 7 - $7 (local NZ auction site)
Diana F - free (it is great helping out at a 2nd hand camera shop!)
Leica IIIc + Summar 5cm - $15 (talked it down from $30 at a local salvation army)

I found my Retina IIC (big C) at a church fair. I don't remember how much it was, but certainly no more than $20, probably less. I did have to clean the shutter, though.

I just "won" a Konica C35 MF on eBay for 99 cents (plus $6.50 shipping). Here's hoping it works when it gets here.

Today I passed up a Yashica Electro 35 for $25 at an antique store. I don't know Yashicas and don't know what to look for or what they're worth, but it looked near mint. It had a little clear plastic piece in the hot shoe (I think it was a hot shoe; my recollection is dim) that, if it's put there by the factory, must be missing from every other E35 out there. Seems like it might have been there to keep anything from shorting against the shoe. The strap was even coiled up very neatly with a rubber band, almost as if the original owner had never unpacked it. (It had a lithium battery in it, though--is that right?) Did I blow it by not picking that one up?

I can finally contribute to this thread... Hi-Matic 11 for $15 shipped, needed the battery compartment cleaned out and new light seals.

Also, while not a rangefinder, I consider my perfectly working SRT101 for $19 a bargain. :)

I saw a Yashica MG-1 at a thrift shop for $30. I waited a few days because I knew they were having a store-wide 50% off sale... luckily no one snatched it up first and I got if for $15.

At the same thrift store about 2 months later I found an Olympus 35-SP for $10 which was a no-brainer.

I have a ton of Polaroid cameras I bought from the same store, including a miniportrait 203 (Polaroid passport-photo camera) for $10.

It has come to the point where I check this store at least 5 times a week... Still waiting to find a Leica for $10 :D

Within the last year:

Olympus 35RC - £9.50 ($19)
Olympus Zuiko 50mm f1.4 Silvernose - £3.20 ($6.50)
Olympus T20 flash - 99p ($2)
Olympus Trip 35 - £2 ($4)

Yes, I like Olympus :D
