I recently purchased a used SP and a couple of Nikkor lenses. Including among others a
3.5cm f/2.5, a 8.5cm f/1.5 and the 10.5cm f/2.5 lense. Does anyone know of an
alternative lens hood for one of the below listed lenses? Especially since the orginal
parts are not sold very often and then only at exorbitant prices. (At least in Germany)

I think the appropriate filter attachment size are:
Nikkor-W.C 1:3.5 f=2.8cm, 43mm, (P=0.75),screw-in Type
Nikkor-S.C 1:1.5 f=8.5cm, 60mm (P=0.75), Screw-in Type
Nikkor-P.C 1:2.5 f=10.5cm, 52mm (P=0.75), screw-in Type

thanks in advance for the help

If you know the thread size, you can usually get aluminum hoods made in China off eBay. Many are vented, but just don't screw them on too hard to the lens or filters. Aluminum "freezes" to dissimilar metals and might be difficult to remove as a result of over-tightening.

The HS-8 hood for SLR versions of Nikkor 105/2.5 will fit the RF Nikkor too. They can be had for about $30 on eBay

Thanks to all for the help.

@Film dino - This will do the trick. Yesterday I purchased the HS-8 lens hood for the equivalent of about $12,00.

@Jan Van Laethem - Thanks for the insightful refer. I had not considered that the 35mm lens with attached alternativ lens hood
could possibly create a vignetting. First I will try to protect the lens with an old b+w skylight filter, let's see if that's enough.

Remains the unsolved problem with the missing lens hood for the 8.5cm Nikkor-S.C f/1.5.

The 3.5cm f/2.5 has a deep enough front element that it doesn't really need a hood. I used mine out in the bright sunlight and never had a problem with flare.
