Mine definitely still refuses to shoot with the lens cap on. I wonder if you turned it too far or bent something?
2. The actual aperture doesn't match the meter reading. I shot a mirror at different f-stops and the actual openings were smaller than what the meter suggested.
Hmmmm ... This makes me wonder if something is bent. The needle that shows in the viewfinder is on the opposite side of the meter from the one that gets "trapped" to set the aperture. If they do not agree, something is off here.
3. Since the needle gets into the lower red zone easier, you have to be extra careful not to push it even further down, otherwise the needle will act weird once it comes back up (a tap on the camera fixes it)
Uh-oh, combined with 1 and 2 above, I really think something is bent or otherwise out of alignment. You really shouldn't have to tap on it to get it to do something. 🙁
So how did your tests go, dmr?
So far, so good. I'm gonna try to shoot a roll of Kodachrome of the autumn colors as soon as I get back in town. That will be a good additional test.
