The Fn button (with ISO assigned) is sticky. When I first got it it worked with a firm press, now it seems totally stuck.
This is not urgent; I can live with it. I am taking the X-Pro to Paris in early May, so if it can't be turned around by then, I'm OK with that.
- Is there any home fix I can apply, i.e. tiny drop of lubricant? (I doubt this would be a long term solution even if advisable ...)
- If I need it repaired by Fuji (in the US), does anyone know what their typical turnaround time is?
- Any suggestions for independent repair shops?

I would try to clean it with some electronic cleaner spray applied to a small brush. This stuff evaporates quickly and is great for cleaning stuff like buttons. Apply it around the button, let it sink in, mash the button and see if it gets unstuck.
I wouldn't lubricate it, any lubricant would propably make it only worse.

Yes, I shouldn't have said lubricant. I have some contact cleaner I will try. Thanks.

What I have done to sticky buttons on cameras is applying a tiny drop of alcohol solution and then press the button repeatedly. I've had this problem twice and this has worked both times.

I think the words "tiny drop" are very important.
Isopropyl alcohol contains a small water. amount of water. The minimum amount is 1% and can be as much as 30% in over-the-counter products.
