I used to have a Summarit with the Taylor, Taylor & Hobson markings. I foolishly traded it. I had wanted another for a while, even though I have a Summilux. Finally, I recently picked up a nice one. I've only taken a few pictures with it so far, but when it gets nicer outdoors, I'll get busier with it.
The new one does not have the TT&H engraving, and I kind of miss that. It was represented as being an M-mount; but when I got it I saw that it has an M-adapter. It's really a screw mount. I could use it on my Barnacks--but I can't get the adapter off. I applied as much force as I though prudent, and it would not budge. It does not have the grub screws that Leitz used to lock some of the adapters onto the lens. One of the guys at the camera store thinks it must be glued on. So the seller was right: it is an M lens for now!
Anyhow I am looking forward to some shots with it. As a new Summarit owner, I just felt like contributing to this thread!
