Oh my God! Once you take that piece out you can NEVER put it back.
 
You need a special tool to put it back called a left-handed veeblefetzer.

Leica only made three of them, and one is in the Smithsonian Institute, one is buried 54,000 feet deep in a secret location in the Harz Mountains, and I have the the third one.
