As seems to usually be the case, images are much degraded and are actually very sharp.

The Summaron 35mm f/3.5 is an excellent lens. It is only limited in speed.

Thanks, Erik. I have CV 35/2.5, Rokkor 40/2 M, Canon 50/1.8 & Summicron 50/2 coll and I think this one holds it's own with them.

I'd love to have a Summaron 2.8, but I clearly missed the years when it was an underpriced and under-loved lens. Still a great lens (as well as the 3.5), but no longer "a Leica steal."

Every time I see wonderful pictures like these ones, I realize that it is not the lens, it is not the camera, it is the photographer the one who deserves the credit. I am sure Erik could have done those pics with any other camera.
