Got a summaron 35mm, but it's a bit stif when focusing in my bessa R. Anyone know were I can find a service/repair manual of the lens just to dismount the focus part and re-lube it?

If it's only the focus helical, you will need to remove the focus stop - it has a screw head. It may be peened on the reverse, so you may have to use a small drill to remove the end that's peened over on the reverse of the mounting flange.

Then unscrew & clean both halves with ronsonol & Q-tips, etc. I use a lithium HMP grease for reassembly, and a little nail varnish on the threads of the stop screw to hold it in.

Just watch out that you get the right "start" on the thread when you reassemble, from memory it's a 4-start thread, so you will get it right eventually - best to take note of where it comes apart ;)

I already removed the focus stop, but the lens stops there and I can not unscrew it, I asked here because I thought it was like my elmar, just remove the focus stop and unsecrew, like you said, but since I could pass that point, I decided to post here for help, in case the lens was assemble diffrent.

Ah - OK, I only worked on old ones that had probably been apart before. I think the Thomosy book has a reference - I'll check and let you know if it includes this one.

Looks like this is a pig to work on generally:-

In the meantime, looking at this thread, it may be that you need to remove the black ring from the rear of the lens in order to unscrew the helical - I'm sure the 2 that I worked on didn't have those lugs, but it was a long time ago....

Oh, and also check here for e reference about removing something from the rear:-

BTW - I have come to the conclusion that, in my dotage, I have confused the Elmar with the Summaron - sorry!

this advice seems to be for second Summarit version.

Two prong spanner will remove a retainer in the rear and the lens optics module will come out of the focusing helical. After that, you can take the rear lens group off with a spanner and clean the haze out from the element surfaces that are adjacent to the aperture blades.

dont have the appropriate tool, so am not going to test it now, but good to know anyway.

its cool lens btw. nice and small, my regular lens for M8 :)

Well, mine is from 1949, and has 4 screws in the rear, I tried to remove then, but the screws didn't move and I was beging to destroy the head so I stop trying. Then with a prong spanner unscrew another rear element to see if it was that, but it turn out to be some sort of a control to the aperture blades. Put it back and decided that is better to send it to someone to relub,
Thank you all!
