OP: you are talking about the 35/2.8 Summaron with goggles, right? that how I interpreted "RF".
No, it's the non-goggle M2 version.

oh, then I change my earlier comments. You are fine either way. Sorry. I thought you were referring to the goggled version.

I love my Canon 35 f2. It's tiny, doesn't need a hood, sharp. Perfect pocketable lens. Great for the price.

Summaron, without a doubt (for me). I have the CV35/1.4 which is equally sized, but much faster, yet I choose the Summaron for travel.
It has something special about it.

The Summaron is a special lens. It has THE best back and white tonal rendering of any Leica lens I've used. It is sharp in the centre and is softer on the corners but in a special way that still produces definition (like a veiling flare), not a smudge which I hate on lenses - or coma. It is high contrast in the centre and slightly lower on the corners giving images a truly special look. It's high contrast in the centre and stopped down give it a tamed colour rendering for black and white, yet Velvia and Ektar 100 look like they've been taken with a Summilux ASPH. It has a 10 bladed diaphragm, and when stopped down, lovely sun stars. I can use 100 speed film on low light at 2.8 and at 15th of a sec giving fine negatives. It's a special lens that I will never sell. I have an extra one that I will sell, in near mint condition with original case in the near future if anyone is interested.
