I use the Leitz IROOA: is relatively simple to find and not too expensive.

Yes, the IROOA is perfect.
The 12585 vented shade works fine too, but isn't as "correct" for the vintage of the lens.
For a more compact option, the 12549 or 12550 39mm screw-in hood designed for the recent 50/2.8 Elmar-M works nicely, and you don't have to remove it to put the lens cap on.
