Hi, I'm using Leica Summicron-M 50 f/2 on my Voitlander Bessa, but I may buy Leica M-3 double stroke camera. I wonder if my lens will work with that camera?
Lens I have is propably 25 years old (#258***).
Thanks for any help,
Paul

Leica M lenses work with Leica M bodies, with extremely rare exceptions like collapsible lenses on the M5 and CL models. Enjoy the M3 and 50/2 combination.

Absolutely. I cannot thnik of any reason why it would not work. I use a late 1950s era close focus Summicron with my M3 body and it not only produces good resuilts it looks good on the camera (as it was meant to 😀 ) The only reason I use the close focus model is that I found it before finding a suitable "normal" version and in all other respects this is identical to the normal summicron.
