Summicron problem

Hi ,

i've a summicron 50mm rigid type II , buyed used by a forum user, it works great by today i was looking inside the aperture and i've realize some oil trace on the aperture elements....

Repeat the lens works great but in your opinion it's better to take the cron to the assistence?

Not necessary, but you may want to consider it. Using a flash light through both sides of the lens inspect the glass. There is a possibility that the oil can get on the inner elements and then haze or degrade the coatings. If all is clear, then you have less of a reason to be concerned. Just keep this in mind and at some time in the future when it seems convenient, send it in for a quick CLA.

The glass 're perfect without oil or fog, in the next months i'll take it to the assistance in the meantime i continue to take picture.
