Leica LTM Summiliux 50mm f/1.4

I'm trying to figure out what the story is with this lens being sold on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=320083537868&rd=1&rd=1

Its advertised as a LTM Summiliux 50mm f/1.4 but the seller also states that its not one of the rare LTM Summiliux 50mm f/1.4 and that it has a custom made modification. How has this been modified? What is something like this worth?

No idea of it's worth (it doesn't even focus to infinity!) but the custom work would be the LTM mounting plate I assume. Presumably the mounting plate is the reason the lens doesnt focus properly... There were about 550 LTM Summilux type 1 made by Leitz.

OK, thanks for the information. It doesn't sound like this lens is worth much (not to me at least).
