summilux 35 pre-asph hood

Does anyone know if the summicron 35 asph hood works on the summilux 35 pre-asph?

The rectangular hood for the 35mm asph can clamp onto the 35mm Summilux but there is no notch on the "lux to lock it in place. I applied some really thin double sided tape onto to the groove of the lens to keep the hood horizontal. The tabs may need to be trimmed a bit because mine was pressing against the aperture ring.

the 35mm summilux pre-asph i had used the 12504 hood, which seems to fit at least two summicron 35mm models. have a look.

thanks for the quick reply! that's exactly the problem i am having: hard to turn the aperture ring and won't stay horizontal. how did you file down the tabs? with sandpaper?
