I'm still learning the ins and outs of this lens... and thus far, I'm not too happy with the softness wide open. I do one lens one body(due to funds, not the philosophy), so I may just have to sell this lens 🙁

I'll upload one soon, but how exactly do I inline images?

Mike, as I mentioned elsewhere, I like that portrait a lot. 🙂

Walter, to upload photos embedded to a posting, just click the small picture icon (5th from the right, lower icon row) and paste the URL, where you photo is hosted.

The 35mm Summilux-M is a little soft wide open but it might be also necessary to have it cleaned from haze ? If I "need" higher contrast wide-open, I use my M-Rokkor 40/2.0 (CLE) version. Despite being a stop slower, it is a great and cheap compliment to the 35mm Summilux-M.

No new posts for a few days so I thought I'd add something! 35 Summilux wide open on M8... Think I might eventually get the hang of this M8, the lens performs beautifully on it though...

Whoa!

I'm intrigued - do most people LIKE the fact that this shot looks like the left third of the lens has vaseline on it?

(no criticism of the shot is intended)
