Hi Pete,
First, thank you for that kind compliment
I do scan my images myself. What my normal scanning technique entails is just taking the base film image, scanning in at highest res into a RAW file (in my case I've been using the Nikon 9000 and Nikon Scan 4 to scan to a .NEF file) and then importing that file into Adobe Lightroom for some touch ups on white balance/color etc. then lastly into Photoshop for some minor tweaking - mainly just micro contrast.
Most of the time, the color produced is just what the film and light gave me

@ helenhill: thanks! this lens makes taking pictures at night a breeze (IMO, as I don't own anything faster than 1.4)
