Hi Pete,

First, thank you for that kind compliment :)

I do scan my images myself. What my normal scanning technique entails is just taking the base film image, scanning in at highest res into a RAW file (in my case I've been using the Nikon 9000 and Nikon Scan 4 to scan to a .NEF file) and then importing that file into Adobe Lightroom for some touch ups on white balance/color etc. then lastly into Photoshop for some minor tweaking - mainly just micro contrast.

Most of the time, the color produced is just what the film and light gave me :)

@ helenhill: thanks! this lens makes taking pictures at night a breeze (IMO, as I don't own anything faster than 1.4) ;)
Out of curiosity, will the lux 50mm pre asph give the same character as this lens?

Are both pantographs up on the locomotive because of icing conditions or is that normal operation?
