... likes film again.
No wonder the 35/1.4 pre-asph was in production more than 30 years. Great shots.
Yes, a mostly underrated lens that shines in the hands of a capable photographer. Excellent photos !!

Whoa... finally getting around to looking at a 35mm lux for the M3. Long thread here so I will take a day or two to get through it.
I already have some questions...like what versions are out there? KEH has a few in the sub $2k range but not sure what versions they are...
So, my research is just now starting and boy do I need help!

Compare Image of 35mm Lux Pre-A and Asph?
Compare Image of 35mm Lux Pre-A and Asph?
Does anyone have a good comparison image(s) of these two lenses? The pre-asph is available at KEH for a mere body part. The Asph is available from Tamarkin for several body parts.

Dave, a side-by-side comparison of the same subject shot with both lenses could be interesting. Failing that, you can find sample photos shot with both lenses if you search the RFF gallery for "Summilux 35mm" or variants of that term. Some of mine with the ASPH will be among the most recent you'll see.
