Nowadays, I am very happy with a 1960 1778xxx v1 and a 1966 2167xxx v2 pre asph summiluxes .

This is the earliest Summilux 35 steel rim I've ever seen (not mine):

Here I have one Summilux 35mm f1.4 first version steel rim with extremely early serial number: 1730018
I don't see any example earlier than this one on the Internet.

According to the record, this copy is the 18th steel rim Summilux 35 1.4 that been made in its first-year production in 1960.

Not really, the rule of thirds is the most often referred to that is why I know it. Editorial pictures use this rule (especially when shooting landscapes) as it gives them plenty of space to write a heading. Some camera makers (i.e. Minolta) would arrange the AF sensors following the rule of thirds back in the 90's (I know that the 7xi, 9xi and 700si follow that).

Edit: actually I am pretty sure that a lot of your pictures follow that rule.
