Summitar question - what's that?

Hello!
A friend of me has a beautiful Leica III with its matching summitar - the cosmetic of the lens is totally perfect, but the glass seems to have something on it. At first glance we thought that it would be a crak but now, after a closer look it looks like a spider web - fungus maybe?
i attachted two pics - maybe someone can help?

looks like there is fungus in the photo to the left

I believe what you have is balsum separation based on the second photo.
