Hey, so...the limit for avatars is 125x125 and 10kb. 10kb is like...nothing. I can't get a photo down to that small.
When I go to save a small thumbnail in photoshop, I can adjust the quality but I can't really get it down past 25kb and it looks like crap. In fact, I just saved my avatar from this site to my computer and opened it in photoshop; I can't get that down past 22 or so! Help! What am I doing wrong? I didn't realize I was this technologically inadequate...

Right, in Photoshop use "Save for Web". When in that part of Photoshop adjust the file's height/width and set the file's target kb's.
