"Super Elmar" ? 21mm f3.4 ASPH

Of course for those of us that use film - there is no "in-camera" distorsion correction, thus the 21f4.5 Biogon still would rule the roost with neglible distorsion ( less than 0.9%). This said I have put an order in for the 21f3.4 Elmarit - but I am not getting rid of SA.

It would be interesting to see a side by side comparison of the two lenses on film and digital.

I was just going to encourage you to get the new and compare it with the old for us but I see you needed no furthur encouragement. :p

I look forward to hearing your findings concerning the new vs the old.
