Hiya.

I've got a Super Ikonta A with Albada finder. The finder is bright enough and the frame lines are ok in daylight so no complaints there.

However, the silvered section of the viewfinder doesn't pop up at the correct angle, leaving the frame lines askew. It seems like it pops up further than it should, so it's angling backward slightly toward the framelined part of the finder. I'm checking the view against a ground glass on the film plane so I'm certain it's way off.

Is there a way to adjust the angle of the erected finder? The only solution I can think of is wedging something in to stop the finder at the right angle but I'd rather not be gluing foreign objects to the camera...

Sorted this myself, so thought I'd post for anyone with the same problem in future.

The foremost finder piece has a screw on the right hand side, loosening this allowed me to shimmy the two parts of the metal surround for the viewfinder lenses apart from each other, correcting the angle of the lenses and thus correcting the placement of the framelines.

After retightening the screw, it seems to be holding firmly enough. Angling the metal surround meant leaving the edge of the lenses exposed, so I stuck a strip of black electrical tape over the gap to stop stray light from messing up the framelines. (Done after the photo above)
