With a few people I went to the famous Keukenhof last weekend. The weather was really bad, cold wind and quite some rain. However i managed to 'document' it a bit with my super ikonta III.
Even with 400-speed film (Fuji NPH), quite some motion blurred images. Frame spacing is very thin, i could say it's "negative"... there's some 2mm overlap, should be careful with that in the future. Lens is Novar-Anastigmat - when stopped down to <f/5.6, extremely sharp, but somewhat softish (or misfocused?) at f/3.5. I'm also getting more happy with its 'bokeh', no swirls this time!weird.

Pleasant surprise: i metered once in the beginning with the calculight handheld, then guessed the in the rest of the day. Considering that there are also indoor shots, the perfectly uniform-exposed negative makes me 🙂 .

Some results here.

Nice pix, looks like you made the best of the weather. I will have to the same here today in Washington.

Re: the frame spacing. This is a common problem for the Super Ikonta III & IV. My understanding is that this is caused by a slight difference in spool sizes & emulsion/backing paper thickness between modern & 1950s-60s 120 film. You can mitigate it a bit by taking up a little more film than usual when you start a roll (i.e., going past the starting line on a roll a few frames). Also, I get no overlapping frames w/Kodak films, whereas I do experience it w/Fuji, Efke, & Ilford films--this appears unrelated to the spool size & seems to indicate that there's a variation in emulsion/backing paper thickness between the different manufacturers that is a more significant factor inside the Super Ikonta.
