Hi All,

I have just borrowed a super nice super isolette folder, and was about to put a roll of film in it when I thought to check if the shutter works properly. I cocked the shutter, but the shutter release wouldnt press all the way, as thought something's holding it back. Does it work only when there is a film in it? I dont want to ruin a good roll in case something is broken.

thanks.

My isolette III only fires when it's advanced the film. not sure if film has to be in it, but the advance knob has to move. it's a double-exposure prevention thing.
