Hi, I am in need of a bit of help.

Can the super triplet be 6 bit coded?
What is the code?
How do I do it myself?

Oh and I use it on my M8

Here's a picture of the rear of my 35mm Super triplet mark I which came with a shallow groove that is already coded. I'd try to give you more but I've since sold it. Hope this helps. Bob.

By the way, you have to think in reverse when looking at this coding, the white paint is NOT the code, the black base metal that's left is the code. Bob.

Any lens can be coded, the only problem is: it will get the same correction as the Leica lens it is coded as.

So it will be corrected for vignetting etc.

Google search for: 'Leica M 6 bit codes' for pictures and codes.
